We’re excited to announce the launch of SMS (text messaging) services, now included at no extra cost with VoIP Much home and business phone service plans! You can enjoy seamless text messaging as part of your existing subscription — packed with features to keep you connected like never before.

SMS is currently in beta -- please bare with us as we finalize a few features (including message layout, archiving, etc...).

What’s Included?

With our new SMS service, you can:

Receive texts from anywhere: Get messages from any number worldwide, keeping you connected globally.
Send texts across North America: Reach any SMS-enabled number in Canada and the USA with ease.
SMS to Email Alerts: Have your text messages forwarded to your email inbox for easy access and record-keeping. Simply contact us to have SMS to Email Alerts enabled.
Push Alerts: Receive instant notifications on most browsers or devices when a new message arrives—no need to keep checking. Simply login to the User Portal from the device you wish to receive the alerts on.

Whether you’re catching up with friends, coordinating with colleagues, or staying in touch with family, SMS is a fast and flexible way to communicate—all included in your current plan.

How It Works

User Portal Access: Send and receive SMS directly from within our User Portal. It’s your one-stop hub for managing texts with ease. (Stay tuned—future updates will bring SMS functionality to the Real Softphone app!)
Stay Notified: With SMS to email and push alerts, you’ll know the moment a new message comes in, wherever you are—on your phone, tablet, or computer.
P2P Messaging Only: This service is designed for personal, one-to-one conversations. Mass marketing or bulk messaging is not permitted under any circumstances.
MMS Not Supported: At this time, our SMS service supports text-only messages. Multimedia messaging (MMS), such as photos or videos, is not available but may be considered for future updates.
No Extra Fees: SMS is completely free with your home or business phone plan—no hidden costs, no surprises.

Voicemail Transcription Service

We are excited to announce the launch of Voicemail Transcriptions as a new feature of our service.

The transcriptions are provided free with all plans that include voicemail, enhancing your communication experience.

Voicemail Transcriptions are powered by an automated 3rd party service provider, converting your voicemails into text for easy reading and reference.

If you wish to disable Voicemail Transcriptions, please contact us.

Phone numbers under existing area codes are in short supply.
Making way for the growing number of telecommunication devices, more area codes are being introduced.

Below is a list of new area codes coming to Canada:

742: Overlapping with 289/365/905 (ON) starting 16 October 2021
753: Overlapping with 343/613 (ON) starting 22 March 2022

TORONTO, ON - March 26, 2018 - VoIP Much Phone Company Inc. ("VoIP Much"), launches new secure user portal passwords and new user portal domain name.

VoIP Much is happy to launch new secure user portal passwords. With increasing web attacks, securing your personal information is important to us. With this change, also comes our new user portal domain name.

You will now find the user portal located at: voipmuch.userportal.com. You can also reach the new site from the old domain (webportal.voipmuch.com) or by visiting www.voipmuch.ca (or www.voipmuch.com) and clicking the Login link located in the upper right corner of the site.

If you have not yet received your new portal password, simply use the Forgot Password option, located on the login page. The new portal passwords are a minimum of 8 characters in length, and contain a combination of characters (0-9, A-Z, a-z and symbols).
